You want a guitar! You want an expensive guitar! You want an expensive guitar but you don't have the money to buy that expensive guitar. What are you going to do? However, if you are looking at this fine piece of written word right now than you surely decided at some point to fire onto the information highway to see what you can get for the little amount of money you have The good news is that there are many options out there for you to choose from that will fit your needs and may even surprise you as to how good some of these guitars actually are.
Now that we know each other and things aren't weird anymore let's talk about a couple of guitars that, in our opinion, fit the bill as kick ass guitars for under $250 These guitars come with many features that you would find on guitars that are considerably more money. In fact these guitars have always been known for their high quality and low pricing.
The first guitar we suggest is the Agile Al-2000. This guitar can be classified as a Les Paul recreation. It is basically very similar to a Les Paul in looks except for slight differences in the headstock and the horn that the Agile and Les Paul both share. The horn on the Les Paul is more pointed at the end while the horn on the Agile is more rounded at the end. Other than that, it is difficult to tell the difference.
This rockin guitar is the Agile Al 2000 and it's under $250 It comes in many different finishes. The pickups are surprisingly warm and bright for a guitar this cheap. The Grover tuners help the guitar to stay in tune easily. The fingerboard and neck are smooth and easy to play. Agile does make models of this guitar with greater features that are more expensive but we feel this is a best bang for your buck guitar and you definitly won't be dissapointed with it.
The other guitar recommended is the SX Hawk MN P90. This guitar is a stratocaster recreation. It is an easy to play guitar for the beginner or intermediate player. The best part of this guitar is that is comes with P90 pickups for great treble and output. The body is made of solid three piece alder wood. The maple fretboard allows for very fast play. This is an absolutely fantastic guitar and is under $150.
When you really think about it this is like when you go to the store to buy an item. You can either buy the name brand item that costs more or you could instead buy the exact same item with no name on it for less. This is the same thing. Especially in these tough economic times it is good to know that there are still options for those that want to get some enjoyment from buying a new guitar but don't want to spend a lot of money.
Don't spend a ton of money. Why? What's the point? These guitars will serve you incredibly well and you won't worry about them getting wrecked or anything. We mean seriously, you want to play the guitar and use the guitar not just sit there and look at the thing because it is some kind of heirloom.
